For instance, sometimes a patient may not be able to afford their medication. The social worker, may help the client obtain their medication directly from the manufacturer. Other services can also include referrals to other programs in the community such as support groups to help the client and their family cope with the illness.

Dealing with medical issues is almost always an emotionally draining process. Despite the emotional wear and tear, a patient can trust that dialysis education California programs will help ease uncertainty of dealing with life changing illnesses.
